Diplomatic Excellence Dating Back a Century
Delta Phi Epsilon was founded in 1920 at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. as the first and only national professional foreign service fraternity. In 1923, the Epsilon Chapter was chartered at the University of California, Berkeley, cultivating generations of ambassadors, policy analysts, international jurists, and changemakers.
Scholarly Discourse & Connections
Our members engage in rigorous geopolitical debates, host closed-door briefings with visiting ambassadors and foreign affairs scholars, and produce the chapter’s flagship journal, The Diplomat. Our global alumni network spans the U.S. State Department, United Nations, NATO, the World Bank, top law schools, and multinational think tanks.
